AJ Styles' Autobiography Gets A Title, Big Name Lending A Hand
AJ STYLES' AUTOBIOGRAPHY GETS A TITLE, BIG NAME LENDING A HAND
By Mike Johnson on 2013-04-15 15:03:53
The AJ Styles autobiography will be titled "Phenomenal."
Bret Hart will be taking part in the book. I believe, but have not heard 100%, that he is writing the foreword to the book. Hart is a big fan of Styles' work and has praised him in the past, including noting that he hopes one day Styles gets to WWE and doesn't "waste his life" in TNA.
A number of other personalities have given quotes for the book, including Sting, Evan Bourne, Christopher Daniels, Les Thatcher, Vince Russo, Terry Taylor, Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Jerry Jarrett, Air Paris, Jimmy Rave, David Young, Jeff G Bailey, Dan Wilson, Bill Behrens, Bob Ryder, Gabe Sapolsky, Jim Kettner, Frankie Kazarian, Howard Brody, and Larry Goodman, who covered the early days of Styles' career.
The book is slated to be published in October 2013 by VIP Ink Publishing.
We've added to the colors available for the 2011 AJ Signature T-Shirt. The shirt is now available as a men's large in red! You can get yours now in the Merchandise section!
AJ was allowed to return home Tuesday afternoon after the Monday taping that aired last night. He was removed from this weekend's house shows. He is recovering at home.

TNA's A.J. Styles Co-stars Opposite Darling In New "Something To Do With Your Hands" Video
Nashville, Tenn (February 10, 2011) – Black River Entertainment's Sarah Darling is getting her 'hands' on pro wrestling superstar, A.J. Styles… but it's not what you might think. This Valentine's Day, February 14, Darling will debut the music video for her latest single, "Something To Do With Your Hands." The country music artist has recruited Styles, one of TNA's (Total Nonstop Action) top performers, to star her opposite.
"For this particular role, we wanted to bring in someone with notable star power… and who better than a pro wrestling star?" says Darling. "Millions of wrestling fans are going to freak out when we debut and they see A.J. in his handyman suit!"
"Something To Do With Your Hands" is the single from Darling's upcoming sophomore album, Angels & Devils. The new album is set to release on Tuesday, February 15.

AJ Styles (w/ Kazarian) vs Rob Terry
AJ hurts his hand punching Terry, then showboats and gets knocked down on the mat. Terry drives his houlder into AJ in the corner then throws him across the ring. AJ tries crawling away and grabs Kazarian, and Terry pulls both of them in and press slams AJ. AJ talks with Kazarian and walks into a spinning heel kick, and Terry makes the pin but the ref doesn’t count it as he is distracted by Kazarian. Terry tries suplexing AJ but Kazarian holds his leg and AJ makes the pin as Terry can’t kick out.
Ric Flair is joined in the ring by AJ Styles and Kazarian. He says AJ is the face of TNA and Kazarian is a star, and that they are the first two members of Fourtune. He continues to put them over as Desmond Wolfe comes out and interrupts, and he says the English don’t get any respect from Americans. He says he should be getting all the credit and he should be in Fourtune after he helped them at Victory Road. Wolfe argues with Flair and Flair tells him not to touch him, and they all bail from the ring when Abyss comes out to the ring.
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles has been named Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “PWI 500″ winner for 2010. He is the first TNA wrestler to top the annual chart, which is now in its twentieth year.
Hey everyone, all my internet issues have been solved, so regular updates will be back starting tonight. I’m sorry about being gone for so long, but this website will get back on track within a week at the most.
The following is an excerpt from a recent interview with AJ Styles from The Miami Herald:
It was 2001, and A.J. Styles received what was his biggest opportunity to date working for World Championship Wrestling.
Unfortunately for the up-and-comer, WCW was in its last days before World Wrestling Entertainment purchased it. More than a year after seeing the end of one company, Styles started with another in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
The man billed from Gainesville, Ga. found things happen for a reason. He has won countless championships and remains one of the main faces of TNA, which has evolved into a worldwide entity.
On top of that, Styles was aligned with the legendary Ric Flair.
“As Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were coming in was around the time they were thinking of putting me with Ric Flair. I was on board,” Styles said. “To work with the Nature Boy Ric Flair, it would be stupid not to take that chance.”
- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA executives showed up unannounced to the recent Dayton, OH TNA house show event and were said to be blown away by how different the TV tapings are compared to the live house show events.
- The Wrestling Observer also reported that TNA locker room morale is said to be at an all-time low right now, and it was especially down at the last set of Impact tapings and during the Slammiversary PPV. One of the main reasons why is because when Dixie Carter makes statements like “an announcement is coming that will change TNA forever,” the talent in the locker room feel like they’re being worked and kayfabed as none of them have any idea what’s going on.
